The GSR Institute of Craniofacial Surgery (GSRICFS), located in Hyderabad, India, is a premier 50-bed hospital dedicated to treating patients with cleft and craniofacial defects. Established in 1996 by Prof. Dr. Srinivas Gosla Reddy, the institute has provided over 30,000 free surgeries, offering comprehensive care including counseling, surgery, orthodontics, and speech therapy.
Services Offered:
– Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery: Specialized surgical interventions to correct cleft lip and palate anomalies, aiming to restore function and aesthetics.
– Craniofacial Surgery: Addressing a range of craniofacial anomalies, including trauma, tumors, and congenital defects, to improve patients’ quality of life.
– Speech Therapy and Orthodontic Treatment: Comprehensive rehabilitation services to enhance speech and dental function post-surgery.

GSRICFS is committed to education and research, offering fellowship programs that have trained over 60 specialists in cleft and craniofacial surgery. Additionally, the institute collaborates with 16 universities across India, providing training for postgraduate students in this specialized field.
Cleft School Project:
Demonstrating a holistic approach to patient care, the Hyderabad Cleft Society, through GSRICFS, operates a school for 100 underprivileged and orphaned children with cleft and craniofacial defects. This initiative ensures these children receive education, accommodation, and necessary resources, fostering their overall development.
